Privacy policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

This policy describes how the Anar VPN mobile app, this website (anarvpn.com), and the related service (“Anar VPN”, “we”, “us”) handle information when you use them. Anar VPN encrypts your traffic with WireGuard. We do not keep connection logs that identify your browsing activity.

Who this applies to

This policy applies to the Anar VPN Android app, this website, and the accounts used with the app, including guest sessions, email accounts, and Google sign-in. The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Information we collect

Account. If you create an account, we store your name, email address, and a hashed password. If you continue as a guest, we store a guest token tied to that session. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

Device. We store the devices you connect, including a device name, platform (such as Android), app version, operating system version, a device identifier, and the last time the device was seen. If notifications are enabled, we may store a push token.

VPN session. When you connect, we store the server you used, connection status, start and end time, duration, the amount of data sent and received, the IP address you connected from, and the tunnel address assigned to you. We use this to run the VPN, show your own statistics, and limit abuse. We do not record the websites, apps, or DNS lookups that would identify what you browse.

Preferences. We store choices such as favorite servers, language, and time zone.

Premium. If you redeem a promo code, we store that redemption and your premium status. We do not collect payment card numbers. Purchases made through Google Play, if offered, are processed by Google.

Ads on the free plan. The free app may show ads through Google AdMob and Unity Ads. Those providers may collect an advertising ID and related usage data under their own policies: Google Privacy Policy and Unity Privacy Policy. Premium can hide ads.

Support. If you email us, or use the form on this website, we keep the message, the name and address you entered, and the IP address of the request so we can reply and limit abuse.

This website. The pages themselves do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Sending the support form sets a necessary session cookie so the form can be checked for forgery. That cookie lasts for the browser session.

How we use information

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to run Anar VPN:

Retention

We keep account, device, and session records while your account is active and as needed to operate the service, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse. When you delete your account, we delete the personal data described on the delete account page. We may keep a limited record when the law, security, or fraud prevention requires it. Support messages are kept long enough to resolve the request.

Your choices

Security

Passwords are stored as hashes. WireGuard private keys stored on the server are encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Anar VPN after an update means you accept the revised policy.
